Meet Our President & CEO - Thomas Ruggia
Thomas Ruggia has served as CEO of Samsara Vision since July 2020, bringing over 25 years of global ophthalmology experience. He has led the development and commercialization of eye-care brands across diverse markets.
Previously, he held leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson (J&J Vision and Janssen), where he oversaw global commercial strategy and customer experience, and played a key role in the AMO acquisition from Abbott. He also spent 14 years at Alcon in senior sales and marketing roles.
He is an alumnus and board member of The College of New Jersey.
